We offers a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Job Summary
Joshua Center Clinical Day Schools are seeking a part time (32 hour) Art Teacher for 3 schools in network (Old Saybrook, Norwich, and Franklin). Our students require emotional and behavioral supports throughout their academic day; the ideal candidate will possess strong behavioral management skills along with the ability to provide arts education to students in grades K-12 in a special education setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required
Art Teacher Certification from the CT State Department of Education
Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting (public or private).
Experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral and emotional needs preferred.
