Description As an Associate Data Engineer
with Infosys in Hartford, CT ,
you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solution and data model for one or more projects. You will build big data platforms to analyze large amounts of data, present data insights using high impact visualization, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, and support issue resolution and execution. : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Bachelor s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree 1+ years of Information Technology experience Experience with Python, R, NLP, MatLab and Big Data Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodologies U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time Preferred Associate Data Engineer Qualifications
: Master s in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative field 1+ years of experience with common data science toolkits such as Python, R, MatLab, etc. 1+ years of experience with machine learning and algorithms for classification, clustering and prediction 1+ Experience with Neural Networks, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests Able to access and transform massive datasets through filtering, grouping, aggregation, and statistical calculation Find efficient ways to make tables and graphs which were visually easy to understand and at the same time maintaining the accuracy of the core information content NLP, text analytics technologies experience is ideal Ability to enhance standard algorithms is highly expected Experience developing algorithms and testing on the real data sets and fine tuning algorithms to ensure business objectives are met Hands-on experience implementing machine learning algorithms in the production instance and integrating with necessary data sources to address specific business problems Experience working with big data technology of HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala etc. Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Query languages such as SQL, Hive Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. About Us
